Music Therapy
Music Therapy, an established healthcare profession, is the prescribed use of music by a Music Therapist to facilitate improvement in areas of psychological, physical, cognitive, developmental, and/or social functioning.
Music Therapy provides opportunity for healing, rehabilitation, and/or advancements in areas of need. The focus of treatment is based on the needs and characteristics of the individual client. Music Therapy activities provide success insured endeavors to clients as music itself provides a non-threatening and enjoyable approach to therapy.
